Every Texan has gotta do this at least once, right??? We are traveling to the Top of Texas! Join us! Team McCarty will be there. My family may even camp halfway up one night in order to be at the top in time for the sun rise. Everyone keeps telling me that's the best way to do it and totally worth it... plus Lizzy is really excited about tent camping. (Me? Not so much!) For those not quite as adventurous, there are other options for sleeping, and there are even several people planning to join in for the fun but not the actual hike. It's all "challenge by choice", but one thing is certain... this will be a trip to remember!

Journey with True Texas Adventure to the Top of Texas this spring! We want to invite any and all of our friends and family to join us for this experience of a lifetime! This outing will also include Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe Park, Sitting Bull Falls, local shopping and dining, and of course you’ll be doing it alongside your favorite Texans. Carpool options will be available, as well as multiple choices for lodging. We have been planning this adventure for several YEARS, and we can’t wait to make these memories!

May 3: carpool to Guadalupe Peak (about 7 hr trip from DFW)
May 4: hiking
May 5: tour Carlsbad Caverns, Sitting Bull Falls, local shopping; Cinco De Mayo group dinner.
May 6: carpool home (leave a day early if you're working the polls for the local elections!)
