This is it: the final week before Jody Owens’ election in Jackson, Mississippi. This is a huge opportunity to end mass incarceration and reform the justice system, and right now is the most important period to fund the last voter outreach efforts before Election Day.
Today, we’re excited to ask you to help crowdfund our first radio ad for Jody Owens. In the ad, Shaun speaks about why Jody is the one to change the justice system from the inside out in Jackson. It’ll reach huge swaths of Democratic voters – right in the most critical period when voters are making up their minds.
The district attorney seat is the elected position with the most power to end mass incarceration and hold police accountable. The people of Jackson are ready for change, and Jody’s got a real shot at winning. A win in Jackson would send ripples all over the country.
