Friend —

"We're in a race against the clock as the temperatures plummet across Ukraine — people are cold and we need to do more."

That's what Michael Despines, IRC's Regional Director for the Ukraine Crisis, reported as our teams continue night and day to deliver supplies in the midst of blackouts and cold temperatures.

Friend, your support fuels our response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and in other crisis zones worldwide. With temperatures continuing to drop, the need for resources is even higher. On top of it all, we just launched our first match offer of 2023. Can you make a gift to help power our response through the winter months? All first monthly gifts made will be 2X matched »

2X MATCH: START A MONTHLY GIFT »

Our emergency response team has been on the ground since the start of the war, and right now they're distributing winter essentials like blankets, heaters, and power banks in regions like Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Kherson to help families get through the cold winter months.

Conflict–related destruction compounded by low temperatures is worsening the situation and causing damage to power lines and impacting heating systems. 1 in 4 internally displaced people we spoke with told us they don't have sufficient heating, and over 60% have incurred damage to their houses, which has been impossible to repair due to ongoing shelling.

Can you start a monthly gift today to help power our response in Ukraine and in other crisis zones worldwide? We urgently need to reach millions of people enduring the winter months ahead. All first monthly gifts will be 2X MATCHED: [link removed]

Your generosity makes a huge difference for children and families surviving through the unthinkable.
