Friend,
This Saturday, in Dnipro, Ukraine, an apartment building was struck by a missile, killing at least 40 people—including three children—and injuring 75 others. At this time, 35 people are still missing.
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) was one of the first international organizations to respond, providing crucial medical care, psychological first aid, and essential relief items to survivors.
Your support is needed now to continue providing immediate medical and psychological first aid while helping us stay prepared for the next crisis—in Ukraine, or in more than 70 other countries around the world.
Here’s a report from Yvhenia Kvyatkovska, an MSF psychologist in Ukraine describing one woman she helped assist:
“The woman was crying. She told me her relative [who died] was only 15 years old. I could see she was in a state of distress and panic, which is a natural reaction to what happened.”
Since the attack, we have conducted more than 100 medical consultations, bringing in two full medical teams and setting up mobile clinics.
This email was sent from the U.S. section of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care.
