On Wednesday, January 18th, join the Spark Joy(e), Extinguish Fossil Fuels Virtual Kick-off Rally for the Joye Braun day of action on January 20th. We will learn about the People Vs. Fossil Fuels (PvFF) campaign and the demands on Biden to stop fossil fuels, honor Indigenous Rights and Declare a Climate Emergency. We will listen to the stories of frontline leaders, and we will hear from members of Joye Braun’ family and community. Let’s join together behind the words and actions of Joye: Be a climate warrior not a wimp. Kill the black snakes, reject all fossil fuel projects and declare a climate emergency!

The Spark Joy(e) Virtual Kick-off Rally will begin at 5pm PT/ 8pm ET, and will run for an hour. This event is open to all!

Joye dedicated her life to this movement, so we honor her by taking bold action as part of the People Vs. Fossil Fuels coalition, made up of over 1200 frontline and environmental groups - who together demanded that President Biden use his executive authority to stop issuing federal fossil fuel leases, exports and projects; and declare climate change a national emergency. Join the Kick-off Rally, and then we’ll see you in the streets on Jan 20th.
