Strata Energy, Inc. of 2929 New Haven Road, Oshoto, Wyoming has filed a regular mining permit amendment application with the Land Quality Division of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for the mining of uranium at the Ross ISR Project in Crook County, in northeastern Wyoming, adjacent to the ranching community of Oshoto and 20 miles north of the town of Moorcroft. Access to the site is by County Road 68 (D Road) and County Road 164 (New Haven Road), which proceed north of Interstate 90 approximately 19 miles to the permit area. The application may be viewed at the Cheyenne or Sheridan Office of the Land Quality Division. The application will be re-advertised for public comment prior to the approval by the Department of Environmental Quality.
