Recently, Americans got a peak under the hood of exactly how the Left slithers toward its goals without ever winning popular support for its worst ideas.

On January 9, a political appointee at the Consumer Products Safety Commission said the agency might have to ban gas stoves.

Out of nowhere, the federal government seems to have decided that gas stoves – used by almost half the country – were a threat to public safety. Liberals trotted out studies that said gas stoves made children dumber and started many fires.

Conservative news organizations quickly spread the word about the Woke Left’s latest idiotic crusade. Within 24 hours, conservative researchers had exposed the “science” behind the CPSC’s threat was junk: gas stoves are cheaper and safer than electric ones!

In no time, the whole country was outraged. People knew the government had no right to ban gas stoves or any good reason to!

But then, the strangest thing happened. The mainstream media started blaming conservatives for raising the issue in the first place! Look at these headlines:

MSNBC: “In gas stoves, Republicans have found their new dumb culture war.”

Washington Post: “How the humble gas stove became the latest flash point in the culture wars.”

Axios: “Right's new fight: Gas stoves.”

This is not a coincidence – it’s a scam. We saw it play out with the 1619 Project, Drag Queen Story Hour, and Covid fanaticism. It’s a choreographed dance the Left and the media perform together, the Woke Two-Step:

Step 1: Attack unsuspecting Americans.

Step 2: When Americans fight back, play the victim!

This is how the Left operates. And their little game succeeded for years. But not this time. This time, the backlash was so intense that the White House and CPSC hard to formally back off.

It’s just one more sign that America still belongs to the people, not our woke overlords. We still have the power to defeat the Left and rescue our country. At CPI, our mission is to harness that power and let it loose in Washington.

In consecutive weeks – first in the Speaker’s race and then in “Gas-gate” – courageous, coordinated conservatives defeated the DC establishment and now the Woke Two-Step.
