Vermont’s newest Democratic AG, Charity Clark, was just sworn in and she made history doing so. She’s the first woman ever to be elected as Vermont’s attorney general. This ground-breaking achievement will mean so much to women and girls across Vermont — and across the country.
AG Clark’s victory shows people that no matter their identity or background, they can run for office and win. AG Clark made history in Vermont, and we’re proud to support her and other groundbreaking, excellent candidates who will follow her lead.
She and our other trailblazing AGs are making a difference in the lives of Americans every single day — and they’re following in big footsteps too.
AG Maura Healey, the recently elected Governor of Massachusetts, did incredible work over her two terms to protect her constituents, and she ran for Governor on her record as AG. In fact, AG Healey is being replaced by another trailblazer, AG-elect Andrea Campbell, who is the first Black woman to hold statewide office in Massachusetts.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
