Texas is the mightiest state in our nation, but if our legislators give in to the whims of the Radical Left this legislative session, our children will be at risk, our prosperity will be in peril, and election fraud will run rampant. These past two weeks were just a teaser of the challenges we will face before we come out victorious on Sine Die, the end of session. To accomplish our goals, we need to band together now. Only the full strength of a united party of Texas Republicans will be able to ban gender modification of children, secure the border, defend parental rights, fully abolish abortion, and protect our elections. | So much has happened in 2 weeks: 22 Republican candidates have filed formal election contests, accusing Harris County of suppressing GOP votes. The Republican Party of Texas supports these candidates as they contest the 2022 elections, exposing a historic level of election negligence in our state’s largest and most populous county. At the start of the legislative session, House Republicans refused to ban Democrat chairs, defying the will of their constituents by killing a measure that would stop the practice of awarding powerful leadership positions to Democrats. Republican voters spoke loud and clear on this issue during the primary and at the state convention, so grassroots Republicans showed up at the Capitol to remind the Austin Swamp they can’t hide from their constituents. So many of us showed up that the line to get into the already full House gallery wrapped all the way around the rotunda! |
