John, last week, Lauren reached out with her 2023 Issues Survey and asked people like you to share your top priorities and concerns to help us get a pulse on what matters most to you and your family as we start the new year.

We received hundreds of responses — thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! Here are some of the insightful feedback we received from folks like you:

• Lori wrote in to share how urgent it is that Congress establish a Code of Ethics for Supreme Court justices to restore Americans’ faith in our nation’s highest court, which lacks crucial measures to ensure accountability and transparency.


• Bill expressed that climate action should be our number one priority and Leslie agreed, sharing that “If we do nothing about climate change we can do nothing about these other issues.”


• Janice summed up her concerns by stressing that we must strengthen our democracy to prevent another January 6 from ever happening again. Those involved in the insurrection must be held accountable.

Every day, Lauren is working hard in Congress to deliver solutions for Lori, Bill, Leslie, Janice, folks in IL-14 and families across the country.

She is committed to making sure our rights are protected and advocates for every single one of us, especially the most vulnerable in our communities.
