What an exciting day, Friend –
Because of your votes and activism, Governor-Elect Josh Shapiro will be sworn into office today, promising to continue protecting Pennsylvanians from extremist lawmakers' attacks on our voting rights.
Together, we held the line on freedom and democracy in November. Pennsylvanians from Scranton to Pittsburgh, Erie to Philadelphia, and everywhere in between, decisively chose freedom over fear.
But our work doesn't stop at the end of the election cycle. Now, we're working with our allies to keep up the collective support for efforts to broaden our democracy, holding meetings with key lawmakers, and mobilizing our base of grassroots supporters through more texts, more emails, and more paid ad campaigns. But all of this is going to take a tremendous amount of resources, which is why we’re asking for your help today.
