If there’s anyone that embodies what it means to be a trailblazer, it’s Michelle Obama.
For 8 years, she served our country as First Lady, and made history being the first Black woman to hold this position. She stood strong against extremist attacks and never lost sight of serving everyday Americans.
She redefined what it meant to be America’s First Lady. She became a role model for women and an advocate for healthy families, service members and their families, higher education, and international adolescent girls education.
Even today, her work isn’t over: Michelle Obama is on the front lines to fight against voter suppression.
It’s time we thank Michelle Obama for her relentless service and dedication.
