Funding announcement for Community Energy Management Program
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Energy Services, is now accepting applications for Community Energy Management Program grants. The purpose of the Program is to help communities improve energy management and accelerate the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Grant funding is available to local governments, tribal governments, and other public-service entities, for energy-related projects.
A minimum of $300,000 in funding is expected to be available through the Program. The maximum grant award is $25,000 per applicant. Applications will be accepted and processed on a first come, first served basis, according to program priorities.
