The CDC and FDA are downplaying an alert that Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 boosters could increase the risk of strokes for people over age 65. Upon getting the alert, the CDC scoured massive databases of patient results and said the risk of strokes being caused by the vaccine is “very low.” The CDC says vaccinations and boosters cut the chances of severe COVID-19 illness and death.
