Friend,
The reverberations are still being felt across the country and gun
industry from the ATF's announcement of their final rule regarding
pistol braces last week.
This rule is just as bad as
we expected, but somehow even more confusing
and convoluted than we anticipated, and that is saying a lot coming
from the state's bureaucracy.
We are going to break down what
we know so far, but before we get into that you need to hit that big
red button below and contact your representatives and DEMAND they
reign in this rabid bureaucracy.
It is
vital that they hear from you constantly,
don't let up at this critical time!
Factors are:
If your first reaction is "What the fuck is this?", you are not
alone.
While it is unsurprising that the agency that brought
you Ruby Ridge and Waco would have difficulty constructing a logical
product, this is still bad, even for them.
We are left
with more questions than answers. What are the
specific measurements for the "lengths of pull"? What the
fuck does "likely use of the weapon in the general community"
mean? Who lost their damn mind and allowed this to be
released?
TAKE ACTION AGAINST THE BUREAUCRACY!
Ultimately, regardless of how they
try and explain it (emphasis on try), the bottom line is
pistol braces as we know them are out.
The
40+ million people with these have been given 5
official options.
Your 6th, unofficial option,
is to do nothing and risk becoming a felon in the eyes of the
state.
None of this sits well with us, so we
are not going to let up the pressure until this rule change is
completely reversed and the process in which it and other law-changing
actions like it was done, is eliminated.
However, none of this will
be possible unless you help us!
You can do that by taking action on this email and future emails, as well as contributing to our litigation fund here, so we can take this fight all the way to the finish.
In addition to this, the most important thing you can be doing to help us is spreading our message. Share this email with all your friends and family! And if you can, consider directly supporting FPC’s work by joining our grassroots army or making a donation. Without you, none of what we do would be possible.
