FIRST, Mitch McConnell made it clear that the impeachment trial would NOT be impartial. He even went on cable news to say he would coordinate with Donald Trump’s legal team!
 
THEN, McConnell wouldn’t allow both parties to have a say in deciding the rules for the Senate impeachment proceedings, unlike the House investigation.
 
NOW, he’s officially going to begin the Senate impeachment trial next week. 

Frankly this “trial” is a near foregone conclusion. Mitch McConnell is gearing up to acquit this corrupt president and end the impeachment proceedings.

If anything, he will use it as an opportunity to draw attention to the baseless lies about Joe Biden that sent Trump down this spiral to begin with.
