ARE "BREAKTHROUGH" ANTI-OBESITY MEDICATIONS A GAME-CHANGER?

Will new obesity medications help people with obesity and conquer weight stigma? Researchers are seeing signs of success for a new generation of anti-obesity medications that can reduce weight without the serious side-effects we’ve seen from previous efforts. However, OAC Chair Patty Nece, JD, says, “People talk about some of these drugs as being game-changers. For an individual patient, it’s never going to be a game-changer if they can’t afford it or don’t get access to it.” READ HERE.
