Hey everyone – Today we honor and celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy
of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a pioneer of the civil rights movement who
passionately led the charge toward equity in America. Dr. King dedicated his
life to a world where ALL men and women are equal under the law and in the eyes
of society, regardless of skin color or economic status. His model of
nonviolent social change is as relevant today as it was during his lifetime. .

Hey everyone – Today we honor and celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy

Dr. King dedicated his life to a world where ALL men and women are equal under
the law and in the eyes of society, regardless of skin color or economic
status. His model of nonviolent social change is as relevant today as it was
during his lifetime.

While the celebration of Dr. King is global, its spirit is local. As Dr. King
said, “Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve” and there is no
better way to honor his legacy than community service. Whether it’s at a local
food bank, school, or church - please, join me in taking a moment to explore
community service options in your community.
