Earlier today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi revealed who will serve as the House Democrats’ impeachment managers.
According to Breitbart, Pelosi assigned House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler, and Reps. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Val Demings (D-FL), Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), Jason Crow (D-CO), and Sylvia Garcia (D-TX). With shifty Adam Schiff serving as the lead impeachment manager of course.
What exactly will the roles of these impeachment managers be? According to USA Today, "Congressional rules specify that managers, members of the House whose roles are similar to prosecutors, are tasked with presenting the case for impeachment to the Senate. The trial will determine whether Trump should be convicted and removed from office. Removal requires a two-thirds majority vote, or 67 votes."
“Today is an important day,” stated Pelosi. “The emphasis is making the strongest possible case to protect and defend our constitution, to seek the truth for the American people.”
