Because today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we wanted to take a moment and honor the civil rights icon by doubling down on the fight to restore voting rights across the country. 

Republicans have been shameless in their attempts to suppress votes, especially in low-income neighborhoods and communities of color. There is nothing more fundamental to the preservation of our democracy than protecting the right to vote. 

That’s why today (and everyday!) it’s so important to stand up and demand Republicans stop passing blatant attempts at voter suppression — so we’re asking you to add your name to this petition in support of voting rights:
