In many states across the country, there is an ongoing effort to make it harder for people of color, low-income and rural voters to cast our ballots. Several laws are taking effect this January that will have a significant impact on elections across the country – whether for voters, state agencies, local election officials, or advocacy groups.

These continued attacks aren’t a surprise: whenever communities pushed to the margins show our collective power, there are many who wish to slow down our hard-won progress.
