John,
Shahzad, a 16-year-old Christian boy, was falsely accused of blasphemy by Muslim radicals. Now he has been sentenced to execution by hanging.
Waqar, a Christian shop owner, was shot four times and paralyzed as his Muslim attackers shouted religious slurs at him. This kind of severe persecution is VERY REAL for Christians in Pakistan.

Our legal office in Pakistan has been helping Christians in over 100 cases. We're fighting in court to ensure that both of Waqar's attackers are prosecuted and we're helping get him a surgery that will give him the use of his hand, even though he may never walk again.
Waqar's message is profound. He wanted us to tell you: "Keep doing what you are doing, and I pray that the Lord continues to use you to help people like me."
That's exactly what we're doing because of your support. In Shahzad's case, he now sits on death row because a radical Muslim group pressured the judge to have him executed. He will hang if we don't intervene.
We're directly representing Shahzad on appeal and will take his case all the way to Pakistan's Supreme Court. And we've just filed a critical case at the U.N., urging intervention for his life.
We've helped free Christians from death row in Pakistan before, but we can't do it without YOU. No one should be executed for their faith. "Help people like" Shahzad. Take urgent action with us.
