Over the past year, there has been an explosion of hypersexual drag shows across Texas targeting children.

The shows—which have taken place from Amarillo to Houston and many cities in between—feature scantily clad men cross-dressing and dancing provocatively.

Texas Scorecard has reported extensively on these events, and the reaction to them by citizens and lawmakers. But where did these shows come from? And why is the Left so militant in their efforts to sexualize our children?

"It's Not Gonna Lick Itself", a new documentary [[link removed]] from Texas Scorecard, attempts to answer these questions. Although many establishments advertise their drag shows as “family friendly,” experts featured in the documentary explain how these events sexualize children. In the documentary, Texas Family Project’s president, Chris Hopper, explains why he believes activists use “all-ages” drag shows to expose children to radical gender ideologies.

Sex-slavery abolitionist Jaco Booyens, another expert featured in the documentary, says he thinks activists are pushing “all-ages” drag shows to test the limits of current cultural norms.

"The reason we are seeing a push, right now, to expose children to drag queens, drag shows, drag queen story hour is because it’s a stress test on society. They’re testing to see the tolerance of society, measuring how far parents will allow their children to be pushed. And ultimately, it’s a battle between good and evil.” –Jaco Booyens

Ending the sexualization of Texas children is one of the legislative priorities of the Republican Party of Texas. With the Texas Legislature gaveling in for its 140-day session last week, activists are expected to continue pushing for legislation to address this threat.
