I want to tell you what your support means for my work

Whitehouse for Senate

Team,

I’m asking you to contribute $5 ahead of our mid-month deadline tonight – and I want to tell you what your support means for my work.

First, President Biden recently signed my bipartisan Law Enforcement De-escalation Training Act into law. The new law ensures that police officers have the resources and training they need to provide people experiencing mental health crises with life-saving intervention.

This law will make our communities safer, healthier places for everyone – but we still have much more to do to invest in mental and behavioral health care.

Meanwhile, record rainfall and storm damage in California is a reminder of the urgent need to make more progress in the fight against climate change. Last year’s Inflation Reduction Act was a major step, but it won’t be enough on its own.

To make progress on climate – and on many of the big issues we care about – I’m fighting against deep-pocketed dark money interests who want to preserve the status quo.

That’s where you come in: your support allows me to take on the dark money groups that seek to obstruct our work and prevent us from making real legislative progress. Will you chip in before midnight to help me keep taking on the important fights in Washington?

Thank you for your continued support,

Sheldon Whitehouse
