For years, Republicans stacked courts with conservative justices who they believed would advance their anti-democratic agenda of eliminating reproductive freedom and voting rights protections. Those efforts are paying off.

Now, far-right megadonors are working behind the scenes to repeat that strategy in states across the country – and an upcoming Supreme Court race in Wisconsin is their next target.

Will you donate now to support the NDRC’s efforts to combat this right-wing plan to reshape our nation’s judiciary, and all of our work?

John, the Supreme Court’s recent decisions gutting the Voting Rights Act and overturning Roe v. Wade didn’t happen overnight. Instead, they were the result of a decades-long effort by conservative activists to consolidate power in federal courts. And they’re just getting started.

With national protections for voting rights and abortion rights decimated, it’s now up to individual states to secure these freedoms – that’s why the far-right is turning their attention to state courts.

“The Far Right is pursuing an audacious effort to capture America’s courts. Fueled by $250 million in secret ‘dark money’ contributions, they seek to enact a radical social and economic agenda they could never achieve legislatively.”

– The American Constitution Society

Help combat the GOP’s dark-money agenda: Rush a donation to the NDRC
If the GOP’s plan succeeds, we could see the same kind of ideological extremism that has captured the Supreme Court in states all across the country. That could hinder states’ efforts to protect abortion rights, address gun violence, take action on climate change, and more.

Republicans are hoping their plot to influence the Wisconsin Supreme Court race will go undetected – but the NDRC is committed to combating these kinds of anti-democratic tactics. Will you rush a donation now to support the NDRC’s work across the country to help elect officials who will defend fair maps and a strong democracy?
