Over the past two years, your support has helped elect freedom-loving conservatives who stand for America. With Republicans back in control of the House and GOP governors leading the way in many states, we’re watching Republicans fulfill their promises and fight for solutions. Here are just a few of the ways Republicans have fought for you this week.
Republicans Tackle Inflation
Republicans went to work immediately to lower Bidenflation by fighting to ensure Biden’s costly executive actions don’t further fuel price increases. With the national debt already at more than $31 trillion, reining in liberals’ reckless spending is essential.
Republicans Stand Up to China
Earlier this week, the GOP led in creating a new panel to investigate China’s threats to the United States. Chaired by Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), the committee will be on the front lines of holding Communist China accountable for its military aggression, intellectual property theft, and human rights abuses—not to mention China’s responsibility for unleashing COVID on the world and flooding our streets with fentanyl.
Republicans Protect Life
Any child born alive should receive the care they need to survive. That’s why this week, House Republicans voted to guarantee that a baby who survives an abortion gets the same care as a baby born prematurely. While caring for a living, breathing human life should never be a partisan issue, Democrats almost unanimously voted against the bill.
Republicans Put Families First in Education
As of 2023, Republican governors lead in 27 states across America, and they’re off to a strong start. In Arkansas, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders banned Critical Race Theory in public schools as one of her first actions in office. And in Iowa, Gov. Kim Reynolds introduced a historic school choice bill that gives families scholarships to send their kids to the school that works best for them. GOP governors are making it clear that parents and students—not teachers unions—are in charge.
