Folks, it’s only a matter of time before Republicans start up their campaigns against Tammy. 

Already this week, the National Republican Senatorial Committee launched attack ads against some of Tammy’s in-cycle colleagues, and it won’t be long until they start going after Tammy too.  

Here are three reasons why the GOP has a target on Tammy’s seat so early in the cycle:

1. Wisconsin races are won and lost by close margins. In the past two election cycles, President Joe Biden won the state by just 0.6% in 2020 and Republican Senator Ron Johnson won his re-election campaign by 1% last November.
    
2. However, last time Tammy was on the ballot, she won by double digits — so Republicans know they need a head start if they’re going to beat her this time around.
    
3. With a narrow Senate majority, Mitch McConnell and Republicans only need to flip two seats to reclaim the gavel — and it could all come down to our race in Wisconsin.
