Today is the 15th, which means we’re already halfway to our first fundraising deadline of the year. I just got off a meeting with our fundraising team, and I wanted to make sure you were in the loop.

We set an ambitious goal at the start of this month because 2023 is going to be a crucial year for our movement and we need to start strong.

I asked my team to crunch the numbers today, and the truth is, we’re well behind where we should be at this point in the month. We need a big fundraising day if we want to get back on track. And we can’t have a day like that without your help.

It may not seem like your contribution will make the difference. But that’s the great thing about a grassroots movement—it’s not just you.

It’s thousands of people chipping in what they can, when they can. And when everybody steps up and does their part, we know we can raise enough to beat our goal and go head-to-head with the fossil fuel lobby and Republican super PACs.
