Hi John,
You may have already heard, but we are in the middle of an exciting time for our campaign against the Energy Charter Treaty (ECT). This is an international investment deal that hands big energy companies a huge amount of power and money, driving the climate emergency. Thankfully, other European countries are seeing sense and exiting the ECT, which means it could be on the brink of collapse. It’s vital we keep up pressure on the UK to do the same.
The issues we are addressing, like the Energy Charter Treaty, are long-term, and they take years of determination to change. Taking on corporate power, fighting to change a financial system geared towards big business, and pushing for climate justice. Work like this isn’t a one-off win, it takes years of commitment. And that’s why I wanted to let you know about leaving a gift in your will to support our work in the future.

Including Global Justice Now in your will can make a big difference and helps us plan our campaigns in the long term and with confidence.

** We’ll keep fighting for a more just world into the future

We understand that when it comes to your will, friends and family come first and that these are important decisions that can’t be made lightly. If you do decide to leave a gift in your will to Global Justice Now, we promise we will keep working to change the systems causing global injustice.
I'll consider leaving a gift ([link removed])
Climate disasters, the corporate-capture of essential resources and de-regulated finance – these are issues our children and grandchildren will have to face. And we want you to know that if you do leave a gift to us, we will be there to take on global injustice, and we won’t hold back.

In a world where profits and big business are put first time and again, it’s vital that we stand together and fight for change, for now and for generations to come.

** A gift in your will can keep us outspoken
------------------------------------------------------------

You might not know this, but donations from supporters like you make up the majority of our funding. They’re essential to us being able to run the campaigns that we do. Donations from individuals enable us to be agile and reactive so we can have the greatest impact possible.

Thanks to our supporters, we can be as outspoken as we need in order to expose injustice and the people, policies and structures responsible for it. It means we can fight for radical change that prioritises people and our planet.
I'll back future campaigns ([link removed])
Please do consider leaving Global Justice Now a gift in your will. It doesn’t need to be a large donation, smaller gifts make an important difference and each donation helps push our work forward.

If you’ve already included Global Justice Now in your will or are planning to, please let us know here ([link removed]) , so we can give you the thanks your special gift deserves and are aware of any future donations.
Thank you for all that you do for our campaigns.

With best wishes,
Eleanor Williams, supporter services at Global Justice Now
