Encouraging Senior Centers to be Learning Organizations: Research will be presented from a recent national study of senior centers as learning organizations, including centers’ areas of strength and weaknesses, and potential points of intervention will be discussed. Solutions to Behavioral Health Workforce Shortages and Lack of Funding: This webinar will look at new and increased efforts to improve recruitment for and training capacity in many mental health disciplines. Elder Index™ gets updated: The Elder Index™ measures the income that older adults need to meet their basic needs and age in place with dignity. It has recently been updated with estimated 2019 data which suggest that half of older adults living alone, and 23% of older adults living in two-elder households, lack the financial resources required to pay for basic needs.
