A few days before Election Day, POLITICO and other campaign experts were calling our race in New Hampshire a “toss up.”

We knew we could win, but it became clear in those final days that we were going to need to spend beyond our budget to hold on to this Senate seat.

Let me be clear: taking on campaign debt was the right thing to do. But now bills are due and we still need to raise the funds to close out our 2022 race once and for all.

I wouldn’t ask if this wasn’t important: Will you please donate $5 or as much as you can to help us fill the gap? I’m hoping that I can count on your help before my team’s mid-month check-in on our debt status.

Thanks to you, Democrats preserved the majority. You only have to look as far as House Republicans’ election for Speaker to know how chaotic the Senate would be if we had lost. So truly, thank you.

Especially since Republicans have the House majority, I need to continue to spend my time working for hard-working families, not fundraising. Emails like this save me a ton of time - but only if folks like you donate. Will you please help out with $5 or whatever you can?
