After a long week in Washington and 15 rounds of voting for the Speaker of the House, I was finally sworn in this past Saturday as the reelected representative of Rhode Island’s 1st District.

I am humbled by the trust you’ve placed in me to continue representing our communities in Washington, and I’m proud to serve the district. There’s a lot of work to do this year to protect our Democratic progress against the narrow Republican majority in the House. But we’re ready.

I promise I will give it everything I have and continue fighting for gun safety, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, corporate accountability, and our democracy.
