WALTZ ON FIGHTING BACK AGAINST THE CARTELS
<[link removed]>
<[link removed]>
This week, Congressmen Waltz and Crenshaw introduced legislation to give
President Biden the military authority to combat the cartels endangering our
southern border.
Waltz told Fox News Digital that the resolution is needed because the cartels
"have exceeded the capability of law enforcement" and are a "paramilitary arm
armed with armored vehicles, heavy weapons, and billions at their disposal."
"And we've even seen collaboration with international terrorist groups and the
Chinese Communist Party with these groups," Waltz said in a Wednesday phone
interview. "So, we believe that we need to start using military assets to
address this national security threat."
Waltz pointed to the U.S.’s "tremendous success" with Plan Colombia under
former President Clinton and America needs to look at the issue of cartels as a
national security issue, not a law enforcement issue.

WALTZ ON PROTECTING THE SOUTHERN BORDER
On Sunday, Mike Waltz kicked off the week by joining Maria Bartiromo on Fox
News' Sunday Morning Futures <[link removed]> to
discuss California Rep. Kevin McCarthy's election to the House speakership, the
Republican Party's goals for Congress moving forward and Biden's first border
visit..
"Trump is absolutely right: Mexican Cartels are paramilitary groups running
our Southern Border & defeating the Mexican Army. That’s why I’ll be
introducing Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) legislation to go on
the offense with military, cyber, intel & drones."

WALTZ ON BIDEN DOCUMENTS
On Tuesday, Mike was on Fox News' Fox & Friends First
<[link removed]> to discuss the classified
documents found at President Biden's private office.
"How long have the classified documents found in Biden's office been sitting
around? Have they been there since his vice presidency? Who had access to them
all of this time? Where is the FBI raid?"

WALTZ ON DOUBLE STANDARDS FOR BIDEN
On Wednesday morning, Mike joined Newsmax's Wake Up America
<[link removed]> to weigh in
the double standard between the handling of investigations into Biden and Trump.
"President Trump's lawyers weren't allowed to be in the rooms as the FBI
rummaged around Mar-a-lago, but yet we are expected to take everything that
Biden's lawyers say at face value."
