John, on January 18 I’m going to watch my son be sworn in as the next Governor of Maryland. 🖤🤍💛
It’s such an exciting day for our family, and Wes, Aruna and their team have worked so hard to get to this point.
But the team tells me that January 18 is also the day when Wes and Aruna have to pause their fundraising until the end of their first legislative session in April.
Wes has been so busy preparing to take office that he hasn’t had time to dial for dollars. I’m proud that he’s prioritizing meeting with constituents and the government offices he’ll be overseeing, but it does mean he’s behind on hitting his goal before the freeze starts.
Wes only has 3 days left to meet his goal before the fundraising freeze, so I’m hoping you can help us before that deadline. John, can you pitch in $10 or more to my son’s campaign before 11:59 pm this Tuesday, January 17?
