We’re still catching our breath from the 2022 midterms (phew…) but we’re already in full planning mode for 2023, and 2024. Why? Because our country’s future depends on it! In November, we saw almost every Dem AG reelected, plus we flipped Arizona and Vermont — that’s a big deal.

We need to make this the norm going forward because unlike their Republican counterparts, Dem AGs across the country are working hard to protect their constituents. From protecting abortion access to stopping perpetrators of online consumer fraud, Dem AGs have our backs. Now let’s make sure we have theirs so they can continue to make an impact. Newly elected Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro ran on his success as his state’s Dem AG, which is why Pennsylvanians knew he would be able to deliver the same results as their governor. He’s a great example of how Dem AGs continue to serve their constituents long past their time as an attorney general, and serves as another reason to elect as many Dem AGs as possible.
