Hi Friend,

I want to make sure you don’t miss this new profile in POLITICO of my friend Rep. Josh Gottheimer. Josh and I worked together in Congress as co-founders and co-chairs of the Problem Solvers Caucus to achieve real, lasting bipartisan victories for the American people.

As you’ll read, Josh and the entire Problem Solvers Caucus are in a great position to build off the success of the past, but most importantly, are recognized as being the main force to ensure our country is always put first over partisan extremism.  With this narrowly divided Congress, I know and trust that Josh and Brian Fitzpatrick, his present Republican co-chair, will be the foundation to ensure the extremes in Washington are held in check

One other thing to take away from this profile? Our style of politics works when we stick together. The left and right might get mad at the No Labels style of doing business.  But I know the partisans’ frustration exists because we are making a difference and blocking their extreme agenda from being implemented.

By always putting country over party, we will not fail. Let their attacks remind us of that old adage, you're only attacked if you are viewed to be powerful enough to be a threat.

If you’re interested in hearing more about our work this Congress, I hope you’ll join me and former Congressman Max Rose next Wednesday, January 18, at 1:30 PM for a No Labels briefing on the looming debt ceiling crisis and how we’re teaming up with our allies in Congress to ensure we avoid sending the nation over a fiscal cliff. Sign up here to join this important discussion.

Thanks for reading, and for your continued support of No Labels.
