There's still time to sign our New Year's pledge to join your local Indivisible group!

Indivisibles,

Last month, we invited folks to take our New Year’s pledge to join or re-engage with their local Indivisible group, and we’re excited to say thousands of you have already made activism with Indivisible a part of your 2023 resolutions.

If you’re still trying to set your resolutions, or perhaps have already broken some of your other ones and want a fresh start (no judgment!), it’s not too late to resolve to fight MAGA extremism in 2023: Take our pledge to get involved with Indivisible in your area and we’ll follow up to help make this one resolution you can keep.

The work our groups did in 2022 helped vaporize the red wave so many people were predicting. But did the GOP learn anything from the midterm results? Nope. Despite only narrowly retaking the House in November, they’re going full steam ahead with their extreme agenda:

  • Continuing their assault on reproductive freedom
  • Holding the global economy hostage in order to gut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid
  • Undercutting institutions meant to hold members of Congress accountable like the Office of Congressional Ethics
  • Sabotaging the Biden administration and using sham investigations to distract from the GOP’s unpopular policies

Indivisible groups across the country are already fighting back. They’re making phone calls, holding rallies, bird-dogging, writing letters to the editor, and doing so much more to hold their Republican members of Congress accountable and push their Democratic MoCs to be fighters as well. This work is crucial in mitigating the immediate threat posed by the Republican House and paving the way to a pro-democracy, pro-abortion trifecta in 2024 -- and we want you to be a part of it.

Click here to sign our pledge to join, reconnect with, or invite others to join your local Indivisible group.

Your fellow group members are neighbors in your community. Some have been organizing for years and helped start the first Indivisible groups in 2016. Others wouldn’t have even described themselves as activists before joining their local group.

Wherever you're at in your journey, whatever experience you have, we're ready to support you and local groups across the country with trainings, messaging and policy guidance, phonebanking and calling tools, and so much more.

If you're already involved with Indivisible in your local area, we still encourage you to take our New Year’s Resolution pledge. Growing our movement will be crucial in our fight against MAGA extremism, and this work can start with an action as simple as inviting a friend to join your local group.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team

Indivisible Project is a locally-led, people-powered movement of thousands of local groups in red, blue, and purple states, and in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Our mission is to power and lift up a grassroots movement of local groups to defeat the Trump agenda, elect progressive leaders, and realize bold progressive policies.

Grassroots donations, not foundations or large gifts, are our single largest source of funding. That means we’re accountable to, and fueled by, Indivisibles on the ground. Chip in $7 to keep fueling our movement.
