"‘Truly I tell you,’ Jesus replied, ‘no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields–along with persecutions–and in the age to come eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.’"
- Mark 10:29-31
Africa & Europe
Please pray for a smooth planning process for the public conference IJM wants to organize in the Romanian Parliament in the first quarter of 2023. This is a significant event that will allow IJM to engage local Members of Parliament and promote legislative changes for a more proactive and strong governmental response against trafficking. This will aid in building strong connections as IJM continues to expand the European Anti-Trafficking Program.
Latin America
Praise God for the opportunity to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Supreme Court of Guatemala to increase our cooperation with judges and judicial staff across the country. Investing in the people that day-to-day serve survivors of violence is critical to increasing the effectiveness of judicial systems and ensuring the sustainability of our pursuit for justice.
South Asia
Pray for survivor leaders as they start planning their advocacy priorities for 2023. IJM has been blessed to work with some incredible survivor champions who are passionate about their communities and bold in sharing their vision with those in power. Pray that we could help develop their skills so they feel confident and equipped to represent the voice of survivors.

Please pray for our IJM Malaysia team as they conduct a series of anti-human trafficking trainings with the Royal Malaysia Police in February. Pray that these trainings will be successful and that participants will be able to apply their learnings on future trafficking cases.
IJM Global Office & Partners
The IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Please pray for our teams to continue to foster community while working virtually. For the past several months, our staff across the country have been unable to gather in person. Our prayer is that teams would continue to feel connected and cared for, despite the inability to meet face-to-face.
The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
