Detroit deserves better than the policies that these Democratic candidates have been supporting during these debates – so does Michigan, and so does America.

Tonight, Democrats will take the stage in Detroit for the first of two nights of presidential primary debates. If recent history is any indication, these Democrats will push a radical, divisive agenda that is not supported by the majority of Americans.

Socialist-style healthcare and pie-in-the-sky trillion-dollar government programs that promise to ‘save the environment' but instead stuff pockets of liberal mega-donors.
Open borders and disdain for the rule of law. Hatred spewed toward Republicans – while offering no positive agenda or solutions.

No matter who “wins” these debates, it’s clear who loses – the American people. This radical style of left-wing politics will never ultimately win in America, but we must continue fighting to ensure a victory for our shared values. 

That’s why I’m asking for your help today. Tomorrow, this grassroots army faces a major fundraising hurdle – our July end of month deadline. Because of that, I’m looking for contributions at any and all financial levels to ensure that our service before self campaign will defeat a radical left-wing career politician, Senator Gary Peters, in 2020.
