I wanted to make sure you saw this, John.
Gavin Newsom’s inauguration speech was one of the most absurd performances I’ve seen in a very long time.
He claimed California was the “true freedom state.”
If you’re an illegal alien, if you’re a money hungry abortionist, if you’re groomer, if you’re a career criminal – then California is a freedom state.
But if you’re an upstanding, law abiding, contributing member of society, California is where your freedom goes to die.
Gavin Newsom’s record on freedom if clear: freedom for some.
Newsom implemented arguably the most strict and draconian COVID lockdowns in the country.
He shut down schools—except of course the liberal elite schools his administrations gave waivers to.
He shut down small businesses but left big box stores and special interest open.
He shut down houses of worship but left open marijuana dispensaries and liquor stores.
And while the rest of the state was being forced into wearing masks, he rubbed elbows with Magic Johnson, Mayor Garcetti, and others at the NFC championship game mask-free…
…and don’t forget about his mask-free dinner at The French Laundry.
If California offers true “freedom” why has it been hemorrhaging residents by the hundreds of thousands while Texas and Florida gain them?
If California is such a bastion of liberty, why has the Center for American Liberty had to sue them again, and again, and again?
If California was truly a “free state” then why has the Supreme Court of United States REPEATEDLY ruled against Newsom and his radical policies that we’ve challenged?
