BPC's 2020 Health Care Series: A Snapshot of Early Primary Voters

A new naitonal and early primary state poll conducted by Morning Consult for BPC shows overall support for improving our nation's current health care system was almost double that of repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act or switching to a "Medicare-for-All" single-payer system.

United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement created a fake university in Michigan to attract immigrants whose student visas were obtained illegally, which led to the arrests of 250 students. BPC Director of Immigration and Cross-Border Policy, Theresa Cardinal Brown, stopped by the NPR studios to discuss the policies behind this story.

 

As the Iowa Caucuses draw near, new policy proposals from presidential candidates are coming in fast. BPC Senior Vice President Bill Hoagland just has one question: How are you going to pay for it? Hoagland was featured in CNN as he called on the candidates to demonstrate more fiscal responsibility and outlined what budget challenges lie ahead for the next president.
