The recent revelation that George Santos, a newly elected Republican representative, has a history of deceit and manipulation that shows he is unqualified to hold public office.
His actions have not only misled and defrauded voters, but they have also worked to harm the integrity of our government.
Santos, has engaged in numerous forms of deception and fraud, including:

Exploiting victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting for personal gain

Facing potential legal charges in Brazil for fraudulent activities
It is time for us to come together and demand that George Santos be removed from Congress. Sign the petition: Congress must vote to expel George Santos now.
Fabricating a new identity to defraud voters is not only a violation of trust, it also undermines the democratic process and the legitimacy of the elected officials.
As a member of Congress, Santos has access to classified information and this is a major red flag. That means, these actions to mislead and defraud voters put our national security at risk.
The Constitution grants the House of Representatives the power to expel a member with a two-thirds vote, as outlined in Article I, Section 5. Representative Ted Lieu has already called for the House to vote for Santos' expulsion if he does not resign, and other members of Congress from both parties have made similar demands.
