Don’t forget the 350 Fairfax general meeting on Thursday, August 1, at 7:30 pm! This is what’s on the agenda:

Learn: We have two guest speakers this month: Wendy Gao, the DC-area coordinator for Earth Uprising, and Mitra Kashani, the George Mason organizer for the Virginia Student Environmental Coalition. They will be sharing plans for the youth-led September 20 #ClimateStrike in DC and Global Week of Action.
Discuss: We’ll brainstorm ways to support global youth action in September right here in Fairfax County. Come with your ideas for engaging with the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, FCPS School Board, or state legislators during the Global Week of Action.
Act: We’re gearing up for our second annual Plastic Free Challenge in October 2019. You’ll have an opportunity to sign up to participate and help us spread the word.

What: 350 Fairfax General Meeting

When: Thursday, August 1, 7:30 pm

Where: Blueberry Hill Common House, 9701 Farmside Place, Vienna, VA 22182

Directions: From Route 7, take Beulah Road heading south. Turn right on Maymont Drive. Take the second right on Newcombs Farm Road. The Common House is the first house you see, across the traffic circle at the end of Newcombs Farm Road. There will be signs posted about where to park.
