That’s how much we invested to help John Fetterman flip Pennsylvania blue. Our work in Pennsylvania helped level the playing field against a wealthy, self-financing opponent.

Here’s how we did it:

1️⃣ We called out Mehmet Oz.

TV doctor Mehmet Oz shamelessly profited off of pseudoscience. He promoted fake diet pills, was sued for his “medical advice,” and even supervised a laboratory that killed more than 300 dogs.

That was unacceptable. We spent millions against him early — before he could define himself — and baked in his negative image with voters.

2️⃣ We spent big.

Mehmet Oz reportedly had a net worth of up to $500 MILLION — money he was prepared to pour in to win this race. That’s not even counting how much GOP Super PACs were preparing to spend to keep this seat red.

We fought back. Thanks to small-dollar donors, we kept our ads on air for the most crucial weeks heading up to the election. We reserved ads that would get the most attention, including during Game One of the World Series — when Phillies fans were tuning in.

3️⃣ We made sure Pennsylvanians knew the stakes of this election.

Pennsylvania was one of the most competitive Senate races of the year. If Republicans lost this Senate seat, Mitch McConnell’s chances of flipping the Senate would evaporate.

Oz proved he would have been a rubber stamp to Donald Trump’s agenda. We made sure Pennsylvanians heard his extremist, anti-women message loud and clear.

In the end, John Fetterman defeated Oz by 5 POINTS and can now fight like hell to ensure that no community is left behind. 🙏
