Presidential Citizens Medals

For the first time in President Biden’s presidency, he bestowed the Presidential Citizens Medal, one of our nation’s highest civilian honors. It recognizes Americans who have performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens.

The honorees included some of those who defended our democracy with courage and bravery during the violent insurrection on January 6, 2021. We owe an immense amount of gratitude to these heroes, and we’re proud to see them bestowed with such honors.
