Friend,

When Tom participated in his first presidential primary debate in October, the biggest existential threat of our lives was treated as an afterthought. How we handle the climate crisis will affect every other decision we make as a country, but none of the other candidates — or moderators — discussed it that way. Three months later, Tom is still the only candidate calling the climate crisis a number one priority.

It’s going to take a concentrated effort to fight for climate and defeat Trump in November, but that’s just the start if we want to ensure a safe, healthy world for our children — if you’re ready to pitch in and help, sign up today to volunteer. [link removed]

“Climate is my number one priority. And I'm still shocked that I'm the only person on this stage who will say this — I would declare a state of emergency on day one on climate.” — Tom during the January Democratic presidential debate

America is ready for meaningful action on climate. It’s one of the main reasons Tom entered this race, and it’s the reason his message resonates with so many voters. We can’t sit idly by while Donald Trump leads this country down the path of climate destruction.

We have an opportunity to protect our world before it’s too late — now is the time. Let’s save the planet, and do it together.
