Help Us Oppose Activist Judges

We believe it's a judge's responsibility to give fair verdicts that follow the rule of law. Activist judges bypass the separation of powers and trample on our representation in the legislature by promoting their own personal agendas.

Nancy Abudu threatens to do just that, having been renominated to be a U.S. Circuit Court judge for the Eleventh Circuit. She currently works for the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a group known for labeling political opponents as “hate groups” and using radical, underhanded tactics. Choosing to work for this organization shows that Ms. Abudu is unsuitable for the federal bench. This is why we need you.

Will you help us by telling Senator Peters and Senator Stabenow to oppose Nancy Abudu's nomination? It only takes two clicks!

U.S. House Passes Pro-Life Bill & Condemns Attacks on Pregnancy Resource Centers

On Wednesday, the House passed a bill to protect children who survive abortions, requiring medical care for them. The vote was 220-210-1, with one Democrat in favor and one Democrat indicating "present." It's the first pro-life legislation we've seen from the House majority since Roe v. Wade was struck down last summer.

The House also passed a resolution condemning the numerous violent attacks against pregnancy resource centers, churches, and pro-life groups in the wake of the leaked supreme court opinion and the overturning of Roe. It passed 222-209, with three Democrats voting in favor.

Sadly, neither of these measures are expected to survive in the Senate. It's especially tragic that only a few Democrats were willing to oppose violence against Pregnancy Resource Centers, facilities that help thousands of women every day.

Abortion Pill More Accessible in Michigan, Gov. Whitmer Celebrates

The FDA recently changed its policy on mifepristone, an abortion drug. It was previously only available in person through specially certified doctors, but now pharmacies will be allowed to dispense it in stores and by mail order for anyone with a prescription. Walgreens and CVS are among the first to indicate they plan to offer the pill.

Gov. Whitmer celebrated the change, saying “We need to use every tool in our toolbox at the state and federal levels to ensure people have... access to reproductive health care."

CTV opposes this and any change that makes it easier to murder unborn children in the womb. Labeling such practices "health care" is sickening and wrong.
