NHYRF Board Approves Leadership
Changes Amidst Chair Resignation

CONCORD, NH – Yesterday,
after a special meeting of the Executive Board of the New Hampshire
Young Republican Federation, Vice-Chair Margaret "Annie" Kennedy took
her position as acting Chair of the NHYRs after the resignation of
Chairman Joe Alexander. Virginia Drye, from Plainfield, was
unanimously elected as the new Vice-Chair.
The Executive Board would like to thank Alexander for his time as
Chair, and Chair Kennedy releases the following statement:
“Due to commitments as Chair of the Special Committee on Housing,
as well as his responsibilities as a State Representative, I
understand Representative Joe Alexander’s reasons for resignation as
the NHYRF Chair. I look forward to heading this organization into the
new year and am honored to have Virginia Drye as my Vice Chair.”
