Representing the Third District is the honor of a lifetime, so I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know what’s important to you. Whether it’s health care, infrastructure, or the environment, I’ll always fight for you in Congress. Please consider chipping in today to support me as I continue advocating for working families! So many of you told me that the climate is your top priority, and I completely agree it’s past time to act. I was incredibly proud to cast my vote in support of historic investments in clean energy in order to set our country on course to meet its climate goals. And closer to home, I secured passage of key provisions of my bipartisan Stop Sewage Overflow Act to ensure that the federal government does its part to support the cleanup and prevention of combined sewage overflows that pollute the Merrimack River.
Many of you also listed the economy as your top issue as well. I know it’s been a tough year for working people. Inflation and high fuel costs have made it difficult for millions of Americans to get by. That’s why I voted to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which is providing much needed relief to working families. Rest assured that I will continue fighting for more legislation like this so that no American has to worry about whether they’re going to be able to make ends meet.
