I hope you all had a great start to your New Year! In Washington, we have just begun the 118th Congress, and I am excited to get back to work for the people of North Texas!
SWEARING IN
Late last week, House Republicans finally got their act together to elect a Speaker and swear Congress in so that we can finally get back to work.
I am honored to once again represent the people of North Texas for a 6th term in the 118th Congress. It’s time for our Congress to put people over politics and work to lower costs, create better-paying jobs and make our communities safer here in North Texas and across the country.
DELIVERING RESULTS FOR NORTH TEXAS COMMUNITIES
President Biden recently signed a bipartisan government bill into law that delivers historic investments in American families and workers – while strengthening Democracy at home and abroad. The legislation includes $30,478,385 in Community Project Funding that I fought to secure that will foster economic development, improve our infrastructure, bolster access to health care, and so much more. I am proud to have fought for funding that will make better communities across North Texas.
